If you plan on taking a ski trip this Winter and decide the best skiing in the East at Sunday River will do, the next most important aspect of your getaway will include location quality lodging. Remember as soon as you step off the access road to Sunday River the prices of rental homes drop almost by half and the quality can still be the same if not better. Mt. Will AKA. The Peaks will be the best lodging/location the area has to offer in my opinion with a view of Sunday River and the Presidential Mountain Range that makes you feel like you’re on top of the World. Also remember the Sunday River shuttle operates all winter long with a fleet of at least 10 around the Bethel Village and up the access road to all the Sunday River lodges. Find a property on the shuttle route and save time packing the car every morning. Just be cautious as some advertise they are on the shuttle route just because it goes by, make sure they have stopped there before or verify with Sunday River first.

3. Sealing a deal- When planning your getaways the earlier the better of course, the big vacation weeks go sometimes a year in advance mostly to repeat guests upon their check out but always keep up on the agencies as some home owners list with them last minute with no luck on their end. Safe side book outside of 3 months prior to the arrival but also remember with agencies there are so many options they can offer quality lodging last minute in most situations and they are always picking up new inventory year round. If you book multiple reservations chances are you are subject to a substantial discount and repeat guests are usually always offered some type of incentive. When booking a property make sure to get a proper confirmation giving the properties address and payment schedule, place your deposit and look into vacation renal insurance as the cancellation policy in the rental world cannot be less then 1 Months advance.
